The main goal of each level is to mow down waves of enemies with a variety of weapons. After a tutorial-laden intro, the game opens up with a plethora of new weapons, abilities, and perks. Eventually I’ll get through it and maybe even give the co-op a go as these types of games are usually more fun with some friends. I will though as I do find the game quite fun.
Story wise, there seems to be bits a pieces of it fed to you though haven’t really played far enough yet to really understand it. It doesn’t last forever though so make use of it while you got it. It does massive amounts of damage can really help clear out the hordes. Next is a new mech you can acquire by collecting parts. There’s a new teleport feature that can get you out of a sticky situation and actually helps keep the game moving really quickly. The differentiating elements however are the new gameplay elements that build upon previous games.
The game looks just as good as 10tons other games and features some really cool lighting effects. Like other games, there are tons of weapons you can pick up, power-ups you can use, and a ton of enemies to kill on screen at once. The game itself is still a top-down twin-stick shooter broken up into many small levels. While similar, it does seem to differentiate itself with a very interesting premise, some new gameplay elements, and a crazy loud soundtrack. Tesla vs Lovecraft plays very similar to many of 10tons recent games such as Neon Chrome, Jydge, and Time Recoil. Tesla’s Gadgets: Save the world with plethora of inventions and gadgets, including (but not limited to) X-Ray Blade and Death Ray Gun.Monsters so horrible they’ll make you eat up your own sanity! Hot of the heals of numerous releases on pretty much every platform, they found time to develop a new game, Tesla vs Lovecraft that will also see release on pretty much every platform. 10tons is a developing machine that just doesn’t stop.
